I Work To Fish

I grew up Fishing , first found Lake Whitney 48 years ago when my Uncle took me fishing on the lake . Years later I kept coming back and fell in love with Lake Whitney and have fished the lake often for the past 13 years. I have lived in Red Oak ,Texas 41 years.

I have my Park Model on  Richland Chambers at the Pelican Isle Resort and only 20 miles from Fairfield lake. I have fished Richland Chambers since it opened. At least once  a year I go to the coast for a  family fishing trip. I can meet you at Oak Cove or Fishermans Point if that would be more convenient for you.

I fish all year because I love to fish. I use many different methods of fishing , Top water is my favorite but I also use slabs and live bait. Live bait fishing starts in April or May.  I use Downrigging some in the summer.

I have been married for 47 years  have 2 married children Rhonda and Bubba   and 5 grandchildren, Ashton 25 yrs. , Trevon 23yrs, Aubree 18yr., Haylee 17yrs., and Roman 18 yrs. that I am very proud of . My oldest granddaughter graduated from Texas Tech in 2009 and is a teacher my oldest grandson graduated from Texas Tech in 2011, and 2 are still in High School Aubree graduated from High School in 2011 .
